The heart of our systems is our Communication Hub. The Communication Hub acts as a firewall/router, WiFi access point and printer/USB hard drive server neatly mounted in a single rack space package. Connect an ethernet cable from the venue or your ISP to the WAN port and connect computers and phones via wireless or Ethernet cables from the PoE switch. PoE stands for Power over Ethernet, this means that the phones get an Internet signal and power from a single cable. That's it! It takes less than one minute for the phones to boot, register with the server and be ready to make calls.
Each phone has a three digit extension assigned to it. Unlike some of the other touring phone systems out there, our phones do not need to be connected to the same router to take advantage of extension dialing and call transfer. Any of our phones connected to the Internet anywhere in the world can reach each other and transfer calls by their extension number.
